I would prefer not having adapters, but it is what it is. That said, I would pay ~$500 or so if Rivian offered a retrofit. NACS is a smaller, more convenient form factor.

If the two wall connectors cannot communicate with each other they will not allow over 24amps charging. In my experience you will see no error, charging will work, just slower/at a lower amperage.

Looks great, I have an Inspired Overland Carbonlite RTT on my R1S and love it. I'm 5'11" and have no issues fitting. The interior is 85". I use the front and the rear mounts on my Rivian racks.

Rivian is telling me they cannot help, and their chargers don't support load sharing. I guess we are stuck with the scheduling workaround. Situations like this are why average people don't buy EVs.

I don’t understand people’s obsession with CarPlay. It’s great for a rental car from Kia or Ford with crappy software. Rivian and Tesla have far superior UI’s.

I think that is what was happening. Good call. There was a random WiFi issue. Connecting fine now and it can work at 48amp solo again.

I do have a Gen 2 R1S. The circuit is set to 60 amps, max 48 usable.

Agreed, I feel like it is an undocumented "feature". That said, I need to test more and see what Rivian support says. If it was changed purposely, they cut my charge rate in half. That is not good.
