So an interesting development, the tie rod threads on my December 2023 build R1S (032xxx) are a larger diameter than the DHD sleeve threads. I even have two different sleeve sets due to a shipping issue and they both are too small. It could be good news as perhaps the tie rods on newer builds...

Thanks for this write up, just got my DHD parts today and will install tomorrow. Did yours come with a small packet of grease? Mine came unpainted so I am thinking it is to prevent rust on the inside and outside if I don’t paint it?
