My R1T always stayed the way I left it until several months ago. Now my vents are usually closed when I get in the truck and I have to turn them on manually. This is deferent behavior from the way it used to be. Soft and hard resets did not resolve this issue. Something has changed for the worse!
Mine is a Gen 1 with 2 12 volt batteries. It was recently in for other service items and they changed both batteries for free to avoid the future issues that they said would happen.
Final result!
Got my truck back exactly 1 week after it went to the service center.
They did replace the rear drive inverter with a new one. They also did the following:
1. Replaced the 12 volt batteries. Mine has 2.
2. Cleaned the charger pins and installed new seals.
3. Replaced auxiliary air...

Dropped of the truck this morning at my local service center. They told me this issue has shown up all over the country and a revised version of the rear inverter will be installed. They also had a list of a dozen other items to be addressed. They estimated 3 or 4 days.

Rivian service center here called to say that my rear inverter has moisture in it and will need to be replaced. They have ordered and received the part and plan to do the work in a couple of days along with a 12 volt battery replacement. So far, the problem has not reocured...

The problem is, the steering wheel will slowly lower over time and I have to calibrate again in a week or two. Why won't it stay calibrated? Is there something mechanical that is slipping? I have it set all the way up to give me the best view of the driver's display.
