Okay.. so as promised here are some pictures and my take on LinerX. Note that for my use case, I usually have the 3rd row down and flat cargo surface, which is how LinerX designed this to be. Note I have NOT installed the 2ND row liners because... well... I'm lazy and I don't think I need them...
This is as opposed to have a big cargo-and-3rd-row one-piece mat. It's much more difficult to get third row raised without advance planning, and might end up having to fold it in half.
Ah, then for my use case this will probably be fine. I plan to have mostly 3rd row folded, but in case i I need the row for extra passengers, I can just take out the 3rd row covers and raise the 3rd row.
@Jeevesbond I reached out to them via customer service SMS and here's the answer: " Thank you for reaching out. 2nd row can be folded up and down. The gaps between 2nd,3rd row and the cargo area should be very small to none and shouldn't cause any issues. "
Follow up questions, on the R1S 2nd and 3rd back cover, on the website it says best 3rd row to always stay folded down. How about the 2nd row? Does the 2nd row always have to be folded down (i.e. flat) as well? Also, I'm sure there will be gaps between 2nd and 3rd, but is there a gap between...

Hi, so far my Guide is pretty responsive. I was asked to confirm my config on 7/12/23, assigned a Guide on 7/13/23. He responded to my first (emailed) inquiry in 2.5 hours. Afterward, I've sent several emails and he either replied or called me back within a day. No complaint so far :)
