I’d be interested in just that mounting hardware too. You are right it definitely looks identical to the rough country model other than that. If you hear from them, let us know. Both mounts would be really useful!
I will send a pic when I get back but as long as you do it under the seam between the two pieces of plastic that meet there you will clear the top tail gate stuff. I don’t think you can install the bracket any other way or you wouldn’t be able to get it in and out.

Once I committed to my altered idea maybe 20 minutes. I just kept second guessing myself cuz it seems like such the obvious way to go. My tip would be that inside the well area there is a seam where two plastic pieces meet. Drill for the bracket about an inch under that seem. That will ensure...
Just thought I’d share a quick note on installing the Rough Country bed extender. This would have been a day one purchase but some things limited its use case for me. I'm happy to say I modified installation in a way that completely eliminates my issues. Maybe you had some reservations too...
Switched to 20" wheels with road tires. Selling my 21's. I'd prefer to sell all 4 at once but open to individual. I have a solid Fedex account and can ship them in original Rivian boxes for under $70 each. Two of the wheels have a bit of road rash, two do not all of which can be seen in the photos.
I’d pay real monies for any sort of retrofit that fixed this issue. Sometimes I literally want to kick my door panel when I’m just standing there looking like an idiot. Bueller…. Bueller
