mine says 4% right now but not a good measure since I have been killing the app on a regular basis. I am going to uninstall it again and reboot then reinstall it and watch it in the morning on another full charge. Thank you for the advice
Thanks, I have a s25 clean install. I did submit feedback as well to them on this. on the changing of the battery usage apps should not be changing modes. That is a user selected change and it should not even be looking at it. Might have to just go back to using the keycard. :)
In my case the phone battery is draining. I have been doing some testing by uninstalling the app and seeing how long it takes to get to 50% battery. with the app installed from 100% to 50% takes on avg 6hrs and without the app it averages around 13+hrs. which is a lot of drain.
Sounds good, I am going to look at getting a Comma AI setup and give that a try. I have a Model Y with HW4 and it will take me from my driveway all the way to local supercharger about 6 miles away with no interventions. Not expecting that from the Rivian but it would be nice on long trips to...
wow Didn't realize that it was that complicated to do. Thanks for this great info. I have a Gen1 R1S and was thinking of getting a Gen2 but I might wait till the R3 is out.
I know when Tesla did my Model S it was an all day job and they replace all of the cameras and the ECU's, I would think that if Tesla could do it then Rivian could as well. I know it would not be the most fun to do. But it would be nice to have the option.
Yeah for sure, I just hate companies that show off a feature and either don't do it or remove it after the fact. I wonder if GM would take away the crab walk feature? Not useful imho as well but its a feature to get people into the showrooms. For example the PS3 said to run linux and then they...
On my Android device running the Rivian mobile app (v2.20.0), I keep getting system warnings that the app is draining my battery via Bluetooth. When I try to force stop the app, it restarts itself within 3–5 seconds—feels like it might be running on a cron job or similar background trigger...
comma.ai will beat Rivian to this! The current highway "assist" totally doesn't work here in the NE. In my testing in my R1S Gen1 there is around 20miles in the entire state of NH where it will kinda work. and of course you have to get a Gen2/3 to have any of this from them. They need to...
I am seeing the app keep turning off the restricted setting under battery setting and force kill only lasts for like a min then it restarts. Looks like the only way to stop it it rooting my phone.
