Got texts for both our R1's regarding the 12V issue. They booked me for Monday morning for one of them. Then the other R1 is the next Monday. I asked for mobile appt especially seeing we have two Rivians and I'd rather they just come to me and knock them both out, but I had no luck with that...
I know there are other windshield threads in general, but wanted to ask specifically in here for local feedback.
Has anyone here had their windshield replaced? Who did you use? How did it turn out? Anything else?
A trip down to PDX yesterday finished off my windshield. Rock left a big star...
Got this call today. I of course ignored it based on the caller ID. But, it was Rivian Support and indeed for a topic I submitted a ticket on in the past day or two.
We have a Tri S VIN 582xx and this week got another Tri S VIN 666xx. Just noticed today the charging pad pattern is different. On the older one it's the Rivian diamond shapes. On the new one it's circle and ovals.
Other minor things I've noticed. New S no longer has the front storage pocket...

Steering wheel on my Tri R1S had scratches on the copper bezel portion on delivery back in late Nov '24. Was reluctant to open a ticket on it because it was minor and just cosmetic, but opened it anyway. Mobile appointment today to replace the steering wheel. Tech was on time to the minute...
I don't presume the bezel or whatever it would be called is a replaceable part on its own? Anyone know?
Picked my R1S Tri up Saturday. Noticed the next day it has a ~1" scratch and another little chip a few inches from that. Can't imagine how I would have done it in such little time. I don't...
After a couple of false starts it finally was ready for delivery today.
Minutes after leaving the Seattle SC my wife following me had her windshield broken...by a rock I kicked up on the freeway. Dammit.
Earlier this week my 110X windshield got broken too. Good times.
Anyway, here's my new Tri.
