I’m outside Austin in Leander. I’ve sort-of installed it, but my ACC+ computer went offline, so waiting on Rivian to hopefully reset it on Thursday. If Rivian can fix my ACC+, then I’ll jump back on my install.
I’ve done a magmount install and done the Lukas harness without the...
Doing a very long 4 day trip from Austin to Truckee CA. Day 3 is Phoenix to Fresno. I can do either I10 to I5 through CA traffic (not first choice), or the back route through Barstow either through Needles, Palm Springs or Palm Springs/Victorville.
Through Victorville seems to give me more...
No, I’m the first person to state how much I don’t know. Love the help.
Your post on Tesla charging was helpful. I just don’t appreciate you telling me I was jumping to conclusions when I clearly stated that Rivian told me this wasn’t allowed.
I’ve got the help needed (plugged in first before...
Ahh, I see a sequence difference.
I did everything like you said, except the difference was I plugged in first, then went through all the Tesla App stuff. I think by the time I did the Tesla work, Rivian had taken over. Thanks for the explanation, that was probably the issue!
Or maybe you can go back to school and learn to read? I clearly stated that I signed up with Tesla and attempted to use the app. I also stated that support said I could not use the Tesla membership.
So not sure Algebra comes into play, but good try at throwing baseless accusations.
No, that didn’t work. First 2 started with the Tesla App. Showed an error, but the Tesla app showed charging, so I thought I was good. But then received statements from Rivian.
I just did a trip from Austin Texas to the Ozarks. I had heard that if you charger a lot, you can save money with a Tesla membership. So I signed up. My first 2 charges as I used the Tesla App, it threw an error. But I received an email from Rivian giving my charges and charging stats...
Just doing a sanity check before I call support. My 2023 large battery has never fully charged over 288 miles (via app and in car number). I only fully charge when planning long trips, but it always ends at 288.
I thought the Large battery was 316-321. Am I understanding this correctly?
VIN...
I have the EVsportline one and it works the same way. Once connected, WiFi is not available. But I noticed a post that said they were able to do both, so I’m going to give it a try.
1 battery model. It looks like 2 from the top cover, but when the tech came out to replace the failing one, he only replaced 1 battery and said the other is a regulator or controller? (I might be getting the words wrong)
