Another small update: On Friday, Rivian told me that they'd check the nearest service center for earlier openings. I still haven't heard back, unfortunately, which is a huge bummer because I've been constantly stressing about getting stuck and also have a road trip to Canada planned at the end...

Interesting. I wonder if this is one of the reasons Rivian doesn't seem very concerned about my issue. I suppose the real test would be to unplug it for awhile and check the voltage then, but I'm kind of nervous to do something like that. I'm also curious to know what metrics cause the alert to...

Small update, I got curious and decided to look at the RIDE menu to see my voltage (ignore the dust): From what I have read, this is actually the normal voltage for the 12V. Is that accurate? If so, why did I get the replace message? To be clear, I checked this while unplugged and after a drive.

Interesting, that really does seem like a drop in replacement, looking at the size and specs. Definitely something to think about.. seems like the OEM batteries are over $350 on ebay, so that would be a huge savings if I did end up doing DIY. That eases my concern a bit, thanks. It would be...

I've had my R1T for more than three years now, so the 12V are no longer covered by warranty, sadly. I'll absolutely keep it plugged in at home, unfortunately it's my only vehicle so I do at least need to do grocery trips with it, which is where my concern lies. I tried talking to Rivian again...

I got the "Replace 12V Battery" message yesterday, luckily for now my truck is still able to drive. I sent Rivian a mobile appointment request (I live almost 2 hours away from the nearest service center) and unfortunately the next window they'll be out in my neck of the woods is in December...
