Update. Went outside in dark and tested and rear view mirror dims to light so assume power from rivian fuse is ok. Will try new wire taps and see if maybe fuse in it went down

Hey guys so i have a mirror tap radar detector. Was working great for last 7-8 mos but today it fell off windshield and power went out. I pulled trim and pushed the taps Back in but no power. Wondering if its the fuse to the mirror tape cable itself or is it the fuse to the rear view mirror. Got...

if i leave camp mode always on does it need to be reset everytime i drive it? Any downsides besides range loss? Not too worried on range loss since im Plugged in at work and home

But someone correct me if im Wrong re the 12 v outlet staying on even when the accessory power outlets are not. I was hoping itd stay on all the time and not shut off

because i was using the 120 v which needs the timer. W voltage threshold change i can use the 12v plug which i believe is on all the time so dont have to have outlets and inverter on all the time

you solved my problem. Didnt realize i can change the voltage threshold on the bouge rv. W rhat it will only shut off at lower voltage so can use the 12 v. Since it will recharge once it hits 12.2 v as long as threshold below that should be good. Thx!!

So that timer is max of 3 days. So every 3 days have to hit it. Most times not an issue but then on. Weekend sometimes will shut off and occasionally w food in it! Meanwhile not sure why the 12 v in rear shuts off. Shouldnt it be on all the time? I wonder if its because rhe fridge detects low...

Hi. As title indicates the fridge shuts off after a few hrs w rear 12 v in trunk nis there a way to keep the 12v on? Also does the 12v charge off the main battery or will this potentially drain the 12v battery and leave me stranded. Been using the 120 v and it works but i have to keep hitting...

Update. Worked this morning when it was in garage. Seems It is the cold affecting it because charge port is visibly clean in both environments

correct sorry if i was not clear. I did mirror tap and used for my radar. Was easier than dealing w adapters and wires everywhere. If have preferred a 12 v cigarette but c’est la vie
