This seat issue post software update is my first let down with this truck, so I guess I can count myself lucky. Rivian tells me that they will be sending someone out to fix it. Where things are getting annoying is that the earliest appt is a month out aaand they keep calling me to reschedule...
Weird. i never had the option for meeting at my home. Also interesting, weāre meeting in the coffee shop across the street because in WA state Rivian canāt complete delivery at the SC. Probably in deference to the dealer franchise lobby.
Iām curious. Iāve been asked to go to Bellevue to complete the delivery process on Monday, but my profile shows āhome deliveryā. Did you go to the SC at all or was everything taken care of at your home?
Access to the Rivian Shop is given by invite based on when you ordered. Itās an extra tab added to the website that allows you to see āorphanedā trucks. You then have the ability to take one of those in lieu of your order. Usually there are at most 4 trucks available and many days none...
I need this answer too.
Customer service was less than helpful as you can see. I donāt want to pay for insurance for a truck I donāt have, but I canāt get the truck without insurance. Many are posting to set the insurance date in the future, but if itās not today, thereās no proof.
Checked into the shop today expecting to see the usual yellow with FG interior available and WHOA! They must have dumped 50 R1T's in there. Every color, all interiors. I was holding out for a manual tonneau, but, what the hell, I'm tired of waiting. Rivian blue it is.
I've never been on a Forum page before. I see we're all commiserating. As for me I'm keeping the deposit for now, but honestly, the F150 Lightning will probably be my buy. I sure wish it could be different, but $92,000 for an Explore package with Max Pack is just too much.
