Bull bars installed on 2 Rivians at Denver Service Center

You're awesome, thank you! That motorcycle fatality ratio is frightening, they need the bull bars not R1Ts.

Bull bars installed on 2 Rivians at Denver Service Center

If I recall correctly a lot of rental companies restrict night time driving outside of town centers to avoid those accidents. Luckily no near misses there. But yeah, definitely some valid use cases for these bars, once they work out an actual mounting case. I've always said I'll buy into Tesla...

Bull bars installed on 2 Rivians at Denver Service Center

That's really interesting thanks for sharing. Explains why it didn't take me long to (ever so lightly) hit a deer after my move from CT to rural MI. I'd hate to see that split by county...

Bent the lifting point rail - how serious is this?

Hmm I now see a slightly higher value in the magnetic pucks. I had gone with the o-ring ones because: A. I'm cheap B. I was worried about the magnets chipping/coming unglued eventually and being stuck to the frame. But I agree that doesn't seem like a big problem structurally. Did they just not...

Tried RAN for the first time -- could not charge

That's rough. I see you posted to Plugshare already, too bad there were some more recent posts on there to see if it was just you or everyone struggling. I've only had one issue (out of 3 uses of RAN) but it was just with one stall prematurely ending charging and I could complete at the others.

The first (and only) Aero Spoke Inserts for Rivian R1T / R1S 20" All-Terrain Wheels!

Would you please, for all of us, elaborate on the testing done for these numbers? -Computer models and/or test drives used? -How many miles driven in test loop -How many loops made -Avg speed of test loop

Ford/Tesla Deal: Access to Superchargers, adapter coming, future EVs will have NACS (Tesla) port

You probably got one of the ones that only works for level 2 charging not the supercharging. I have the same Lectron 40A option which is helpful for some charging. Hang on to it, you may need it someday. (Supercharging adapters are not yet available)

Ford/Tesla Deal: Access to Superchargers, adapter coming, future EVs will have NACS (Tesla) port

And I was able to squeeze into the right space when I charged even :) just had to take up the access next to the space too. Not saying they don't work, they clearly do, just that it will likely be more challenging to manage with a more diverse user base. I'm hoping they manage better than others...

Ford/Tesla Deal: Access to Superchargers, adapter coming, future EVs will have NACS (Tesla) port

Good point, similar to Android vs Apple. Though I was thinking it's just harder to make something that works when you can't test it on every possible scenario. Initially Superchargers just need to be tested with Tesla models (and now everything else). I'm sure what you are plugging in shouldn't...

Ford/Tesla Deal: Access to Superchargers, adapter coming, future EVs will have NACS (Tesla) port

I would not be surprised but I also wouldn't expect Ford/Tesla to agree on whatever this price is so seems unlikely.

Ford/Tesla Deal: Access to Superchargers, adapter coming, future EVs will have NACS (Tesla) port

The other factor here will be seeing if the Superchargers retain their reliability when serving multiple brands. I have to imagine some of the issues EA faces is the different integrations but perhaps not. Either way I'd happily buy an adapter since the magic doc was handy but would try to...

Ford/Tesla Deal: Access to Superchargers, adapter coming, future EVs will have NACS (Tesla) port

But no photo of how long the cord on this adapter is? Curious to see when this rolls out if they are at all interchangeable between different Fords or different brands. Magic doc worked nicely on my last trip but I still wish they would just sell an overpriced adapter to anyone that wants one...

Would love to see an R2M ('M' for minivan)

+1 for an EV minivan. Once you live with a minivan every other vehicle looks kinda pointless (sports cars excluded)

    $11 Field kit bag alternative

As if that whole kit isn't full of snickers... Clean look, I was contemplating cutting a couple off but leaving one for a hook.

Don't worry, I wasn't saying you are the only one. I've used some band-aids that are older than I am.

Intelligence test should be required IMO

These people shop at Whole Foods too much and are trained by the nice parking without charging ;)

    $11 Field kit bag alternative

Agreed, especially as a lot of that has a life expectancy so would need to be replaced before (hopefully) being needed.

My mistake suggesting Snickers. Just glad to see you are using your truck bed at Costco. Make sure to fill the tunnel too.

    $11 Field kit bag alternative

Well, I definitely didn't need that. But it'll be here Monday. Great find, thanks! Now my straps and who knows what will have a new home. Please let us know if you find a better use for the frame loops than emergency Snickers holders.

Tesla Cybertruck Went From Exoskeleton Marvel to Unibody Honda Ridgeline Competitor

Another reason not to buy one just occurred to me: Everyone testing the windows with rocks. Might be nearly impossible to come back from Lowes without broken windows.
