  1. R1T Tailgate Abyss Cover!

Update! I settled on a final design and I think it works great so far! Below is a pic of where I landed. It's very sturdy and blocks a large majority of the gap. I cant seem to get a video to upload, but the top flap stays in place very well w/o interfering w/ the hinge/piston. Also the whole...
  2. NERD ALERT - Need some analysis review - Tracking my ROI one charge at a time

Hi everyone - Looking for an analysis review on my math below. Overall I’m just logging my charging/cost of my R1T just for fun and to highlight any hidden costs or savings vs my old ICE. Method - I created an iPhone shortcut to log every single charge session and cost associated w/ it...
  3. 2 months of R1T ownership in pics

Picked up my R1T in late March, put roughly 3k miles on it. Calculated that cost/mile is about $0.03 since I got so many fast charging sessions for free and I can charge at my workplace for free. Loving the truck, below are some of the cool pics I got along the way. Pickup day, daughter loved...
  4. Tailgate shows as open during acceleration & charging, but actually closed.

As the title says there are 2 times when my tailgate will sometimes show as "open" when it is closed. Occasionally during hard acceleration I get the tailgate open light on the front dash screen. It goes away after the G's stop. Additionally, my truck could be charging and parked for hours...
  5. Texas Sold: WTB/owe you a beer: back cap for Rivian Wall Charger indoor installation

Looking for the tiny black cap that goes with the charger and gets removed when doing an interior install. I bought my wall charger used and this piece was probably tossed by the prior electrician. Im installing my wall charger outside via the bottom knockout and I’d like to replace that cap...
  6. Anyone ever go from Austin/SATX/Hill Country over to Fort Davis/Marfa?

Looking to tackle an Austin to Ft. Davis trip in late April with an R1T. ABRP has 3 stops, all EA chargers. PlugShare has "decent" ratings for these. Curious of anyone has any pointers for this specific direction. I've never driven out there even in an ICE, and this would be my first EV road...
