Someone saying they got forest edge for free, other say if you go to a Rivian space you can get a referral for $1,000 off, anyone here experience this?
In the last few weeks Rivian did the following for R1S in fairly quick succession:
1. Open shop to general public
2. Leasing
3. Drop in lease price
4. Releasing Standard+ for free
I’m guessing there’s a real mismatch between supply and demand at current prices. Personally im going to hold out...
It seems that the R1S lease payments have been lowered now pretty significantly than what I remembered. Similar terms to R1T now to push more out the door?
I was invited to test drive earlier in the year and to configure maybe 2 months ago but weren’t ready to do either. Logged in today and just found I had shop access without being notified otherwise. If you have been waiting just log in and check!
Let’s say I want to provide an indefinite term, interest free loan of $1,000 to Rivian, can i just reserve and never configure? Would you be forced to move forward at some point?
Looking at the R1S price increase again because it’s been a while, $20,000 increase for Quad large and increase in destination plus tax in CA, meanwhile the entire EV market has been decreasing prices significantly whether explicitly like Tesla with the recent MX to 80k or implicitly like legacy...
Didn’t see this mentioned here recently, a real 7 seater SUV with 360+ miles of range coming out late 2023, with a ~50k price tag. I’d prefer this to KIA EV9 especially given the EV9 estimated pricing being in the range of R1S. Thoughts?
