I accidentally dropped my ring between the driver's seat and the center console. In trying to retrieve it I pushed it further into a crevice where the carpet actually splits. Anyone have any ideas on how I might get it? Or does anyone know how to remove the seat?

Does anyone have an aesthetic solution for covering the sharp edges of the gear tunnel door when it's open? I've banged my shin against it a few times.
