I just tried to install today and I ran into the same issue. Rear 2 brackets on the passenger side are a no go. Was thinking of grinding it down as well but emailed support first to get guidance.
I'm actually looking to pull the trigger on the same tires, Nokian One HT - 275/60/20. So looking at this thread, Rivian needs to adjust bunch of settings if I'm from 34' to 33' ? (I have the stock ATs right now). Is this absolutely necessary?
I had the same issue and experience. Required for the module to be replaced as others have stated. Mine was quite a tragic experience since it left me stranded in middle of MA and Rivian refused to tow because J plug was working.
Well I was hopefully until I didn’t see NJ as a “coming soon” SC in the recent email blast (the one that talked about new chargers, new SCs etc.). Though it shows like 3 SCs in NJ as coming soon on the official map.

I’m 20 mins from the area and drove there couple of times. Lots of warehouses but nothing under construction that screamed Rivian service center. It would be a great location if it happens.
Also curious above the numbers - I was planning swapping the 20 ATs with the Nokian One HT in the spring, very similar tire to what you installed. LT275/65 R 20 126/123S.
Do you have to have the SC do anything if you install AS 20s from any of the tires mentioned in this thread? I was thinking of swapping to AS Nokian Tyres One 275/60 R 20 115H in the spring, which I’m sure will mess the range estimates.
Well I’m sure there are existing service requests they are trying to complete, so some of it is SC depended? I got my truck to SC 12/11, expected completion is end of next week.
I had the same problem. VIN 13XXX. Got actually stranded in MA and had to limp my way to Brooklyn SC using L2 charging, took about 7+ hours and the entire road trip was ruined. Faulty module as others have stated, will take 12 hours to replace by a dedicated engineer (comments from SC)...
