  1. Hertz to sell 1/3 of its EV fleet

    I rented a Tesla from Hertz over New Year's weekend. The car came 100% charged and they expected it at least 95% charged when returned. That's not great. I'd be concerned at buying one with batteries abused like this but it could provide a great study in long term charging levels on EV batteries.

  3. Extension Cable for 110V charging

    I keep a 10/3 50' extension cord in my frunk for just such circumstances. Used it many times, no issues charging, no issues with the extension cord heating. 120v is a slow charge but quite usable.

    We're an all EV household: 2019 Tesla model 3 long range 2022 R1T (soon to be) No charger at home as we don't have a garage. Usually charge while out and about - grocery store, office, etc. Once in month or so I'll charge at a SuperCharger. Sometimes I'll plug into a standard household outlet...
