Same here, but I had the same issue with my ICE truck and my Tesla Model 3 before. I think th smell most likely comes in through the air system. Unless you’re having. Header leak issues (like I did a while back) I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.
I had this same problem with my R1T, after car washes the visor mounts would leak, as well as that small grill behind the driver camera in the center near the rear view mirror. It took them three full days in August, but they managed to fix it, and I haven’t had any problems since.
This is my biggest beef with the bed… nearly impossible to get up into without using a gear tunnel door. And I’m 6’4”! They really should have integrated some sort of step into the rear bumper.
I'm all about the hang loose sign, though since I tinted the front windows it's less likely people will see me. Sometimes I just wave empathically though with a big grin on my face.
