Got the truck back from its second appointment. I suspect that the initial mobile technician only replaced one of the two batteries, because on the second visit they reported one of the batteries was actually degraded, so not just a software issue. They replaced it at no charge.

I know the R2 software is a bit different, but on the R1 there is a master list of media apps that you can use to add and remove media apps from the media selector widget. If SiriusXM was not added to the media selector widget on that R2, it would not have appeared as a selectable source.

I think your second sentence there is the crux of the matter, and on which the OP would presumably disagree. There seems to be an increasing drumbeat of posts here that there are indeed major failure points which cause expensive repairs, which could be unmanageable when out of warranty.
