Heading to Florida for the winter... My R1T is going in my heated barn... Question is plug in the level 1 charger or just let it sit?

Having issues with charging my truck... Charges for awhile then stops... Says vehicle disconnected... Charger port turns red. Called support.. said it was a known issue and the work around is to turn down the charging amps to 28. Don't see anything in the forums about it???
