I did flip the breaker on the Rivian wall charger to reset it. It has been working but the damage is done. I’d be in big trouble if I head to the garage in the morning the car isn’t ready.
Good morning,
We have an R1s, Model Y, and BMW i5. In the past we have charged wth an Emporia and it worked great. We then installed the Rivian wall charger and it has been nothing but problems. Both sat on a dedicated 60A circuit, professionally installed.
It charges the rivian just fine --...
Has anyone had water leak in through the passenger sun visor? There is some moisture in the headliner in the immediate area. There have been no issues with window nor door seal. . There is no apparent water elsewhere.
I have alerted the service center to this issue but am no longer willing to...
The audio has been significantly degraded with the latest software update. I strongly suspect its to sell more of the new premium option on the Gen2.
The audio was barely acceptable and now is a big problem.
We have an R1S which is big enough but could use more space. Ideally a Yukon XL/Suburban/Escalade-sized car.
I am very disappointed in the Escalade IQ pricing. I am excited for the Ultium platform to move down to Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon but fear GM is set up for disappointing sales with the...
To contribute to a thread that helped me make a decision.
I just installed an XT XXL on the R1s. No issues with the trunk hitting the box. I made no adjustments other than installing the box as far forward as possible on the middle and rear roof rack attachment points. The box came damaged...
I am experiencing the same thing. Especially on long drives the heat will give out. My SC was no help nor have updates been helpful.
TIP: turn the defroster on hi (red icon, not the blue) to get the truck to produce heat. You can monitor the temp in the car from the Rivian app, even while...
The app will tell you the current interior temperature even when the car is moving. The heating system does not keep up on long drives. This past week while driving through Vermont I had the heat set to 75 and the interior temp was 66. This went on for a long time.
TIP: Put your defroster on...
The benefits are cost and convenience. These racks are inexpensive on amazon and it is easy to get the skis/boads off the rack in the mountain parking lot.
I was considering the same setup. Issue is hitch mounted ski racks are universally disliked on the interwebs — a place where consensus is obviously rare. It seems like unless you are just using for short trips your equipment is going to get destroyed by road debris.
I have no computer experience beyond posting annoying threads online. Here is my current wish list. What else?
1, 2, 3. Navigation should show the estimated arrival battery percentage, not the estimated miles. I want to know raw energy reserves, not the guess-o-meter range. This is so...
Thank you. I had a second service appointment scheduled to this issue and realized from this forum that it i likely software and not failing hardware. I cancelled my appt as it’s a 5 hour round trip and will wait it out for a software correction.
I have tried recirculation and HVAC off for a bit. Neither works reliably. The intermittent nature of the problem and only happening on longer trips is making me crazy. I thought I was over reacting. Sounds like it may be a software issue which is the best possible news.
I live in New England so we are using the heat these days.
We have noticed on longer car rides that the climate control fan shuts down and does not blow heat into the cabin. Sometimes we even get an electrical smell (likely the heating element for the heat overheating since the fan is not...
