I know this is important metric for some, but I don't usually keep statistic while driving. Having said that, my very unscientific efficiency compared to OE21 is about 7% less (2.2m/kW). This is actually better than what was expected mainly due to my tire size and Platinum being a heavy LT tire...
Moving from factory 21, installed Satin Black with Michelin Defender Platinum. Having 285/60r20 on top of 8mm less offset make the tire fit just about flush with the wheel well - gorgeous to my eye.
It seems a little unfair that you are using Rivian to carry Tesla wheels. There is CT for that. At least now I know how many wheels I can carry in the truck bed.
I placed preorder for Satin Black couple of days ago. Followed by confirmation email. However, nowhere in this email I was able to...
Excellent post, amazing pictures. I'm full of envy of your adventure.
How did you manage the permit requirements. What was required and how did you acquired the necessary permits?
Were you required to setup camp at designated/reserved camping area only or there were some dispersed camp spots...
Thanks guys for detail write up for adding 12v plug in frunk, which for me was great disappointment to see it removed.
We can improvise and add it back what Rivian deleted without much difficulty.
However, there are couple of questions I remains hope some Wiseman can enlight me.

The whole tonneau cover ordeal is nothing short of disaster. It's 'adventure' truck to own, a whole different meaning from what we signed up for.

My second prior address before...
My quoted window was 11/30-12/5, so they exceeded their own estimate this time which is very good thing, but couldn't figure out which address to ship to.
My delivery was Feb 2023 fyi.
Just got tonneau cover is shipped email, and UPS confirmed it is in delivery, to the year old
previous address.
Of course I did confirmed the address change back in August. ?

Do you think the threaded rod is really needed in its place, after you removed it?
I'm thinking it causes more challenges and scratches than functional benefits. Especially for those with rtt.
For those of you have installed rtt in the truck bed, congratulations, and I'm on a same route soon.
One big concern I still have and haven't found a solution yet, how you guys going handle the spare tire access issue when the situation demand for. Hitch mount spare( dirtcom) solution is really...
