sorry if i missed the info but would confirming a request i made be considered as the preorder? or is there a website i need to go to? i had a commit for a r1t forrest green with the 21" road tire. are you looking for payment at this time? thanks for doing this!
you say to not use bluetooth but is there any hope for those of us that stream music from phone? would your settings still work for that? maybe not as good but still better then defaults?
in your instructions, you should mention putting the truck in highest height. made getting at the screws easier. although i think everyone will do this, it goes along mentioning to wash the wheel wells. also had anyone used the self tapping screws? even with the height at the highest, i cant get...
I asked my buddy at work where I might get two-way slides if I had to buy them outside of the company and he pointed me to this site. He says these slides are very similar to what our company uses (ours have some customization for our use cases). They are strong enough to be installed flat to...
the slides are 4 feet in length. the company that supplied them were in canada and i have been trying to get their info to post here. i actually got mine through my company but the procurement process changes based on availability. im still asking though...
one advantage of digital buttons is that they can be redesigned or reconfigured. with a software update, the old 2 state of suspension firmness slider is now 3 states. i know that other car companies have "infinite" turning knobs that could be used in this case but a graphical button can be made...
We went to a driving range today (Palo Alto Muni for those familiar with the Bay Area) and took some videos of putting golf bags in (passenger side) and getting them out (driver side) using the shuttle. Jing split the action into smaller videos because I was worried about the file upload size...
these are bi-directional slides. we use them in some of our test vehicles at work. i see requests for information in this thread and plan on doing more videos and writeups this weekend (annoying how work can get in the way of playing with our trucks)
Hm, I have 2 videos of 1) loading the golf bags from one side of the truck and 2) unloading from the other. But I think there is a limit on how big a video file can be because the site rejects them. I will try to take shorter videos.
Here are pics of the whole shuttle. I did not have enough wood at the time of building so I made 3 sections. The full shelf would be 60" x 13". The rails are rated for 700lb each but I am using them horizontally to maximize interior space. There is a wood block that will rest on the gear door...
The weight load for the rails are rated pretty high so they can be installed horizontally to save interior space but it is still a tight fit. The rails are held in place with a plate system.
I've been using the gear tunnel to transport golf bags. Works well but my old back does not like to bend and reach into the space to wrestle the bags in and out. Also, depending on the parking spot we get at the course, I would have to work from either side of the truck. To solve these problems...
Just installed running boards on my R1T and was wondering if anyone had an issue with the bracket fit? The rear 2 brackets on each side would overlap with existing bolts / plates. No big deal and a little grinding fixed. Could it be caused by individual variations on each vehicle? If folks are...
Hi Rob, the plastic cage that holds the phone charger in place has bumpouts (not exactly sure what to call them) that the original charger will clip into. The v1 charger does not have clips and I see that it uses friction against the bumpouts to hold itself in place. I am now noticing that there...
hi rob, does your original charging pad have the 3 latches? I see the original rivian charging pad has these latches. my unit does not stay down very well. will there be an upgrade to your original charging pad to include the latches? maybe an upgrade to just the bottom frame?
i had this issue and filed a service ticket. when a technician was out to fix a different issue, I pointed this fob issue out. he could not fix right there (even had his laptop plugged into the truck). but he talked to someone on the phone and the "Setup" message disappeared about a week later...
i’ve been reading posts while i wait for my running boards. i’ve notice folks are saying how heavy the packaging is and was wondering if the boards themselves are heavy? is it just a lot of packing material that is making the package heavy? how much reduction to mileage are folks seeing? still...
