I received the message and called. They said it was related to the recall. Then they proceeded to say they could fix it late May. I asked about the “needing a tow” part. He said that it’s a generic message that goes out and not to be worried. ?
Honestly, this has been a lemon for me. I would take a new one in a heartbeat. I’ve had over 25 issues with it in under a year. Granted, it is a sub 2,000 VIN.
7,500 miles and 7 months of ownership and we have multiple areas where the adhesive is letting go on the trim. We actually lost an entire piece above the tailgate. Might want to check yours.
