The new horn is legitimately unsafe. Other cars cant hear it at freeway speeds. The only reason Rivian can get away with it is there arent any regulations for it, but its going to get someone killed at some point
They wont even acknowledge it even though it seems like 50% of owners are experiencing issues with the AC, cooled seats, or both. The only comms Iāve seen is they havent made any changes there and everything is working as intended, which obviously isnt true
Youāre getting some flak but I agree itās reasonable to expect a key fob battery to last more than a weekā Iād be concerned too. Hopefully its actually just a dead battery and not a short in the fob.
It makes sense in that it will both streamline production and save them money. I dont think corporate identity is more than a minor consideration. Theyāll keep the accents and badging because its cheap and universalā and where it isnt its a product differentiator like on the Quad Adventure.

It certainly seems that after seeing 3-4 people try that there is no change to the information or knowledge that the front-line reps have. Perhaps OP spoke to a manager or person who otherwise has some insider knowledge.... but also possible that person was just misinformed or willing to to say...
Ha, wouldnt happen though. They'd either give it the same Carplay everyone else has or build some more robust native Rivian version into the system. No way would they wouldnt use their most established system and engineers to capture even more data from peoples phones.
