Sounds like the brake rotor rubbing on the brake pads; at least that’s my guess based on previous experiences with my other vehicles… However I’ve not experienced on my T…
I second the 90 degree adaptor and the Samsung 256 option but I’m also in a Gen 1 T and have had no issues and have saved/transferred videos of need and importance without issue!
I’ll go with the 20’s this time for sure! The tire is a TA not a true All Terrain and should not be nearly as noisy as on the R1 series… That being said I had the 21’s on my T and got a little over 46k miles and was pleased with them until I needed to replace them… Only the stock Pirellis were...
Definitely picking up the spare; saw the kit at the Nashville event a week back and it is the deflated tire and full tool kit with jack! Hoping the R2 is already kit’d with the sealer and inflator but if not got that covered as well… Peace of mind as we burn a lot of miles and travel too...
You may want to go in and reset the range estimates as they are based on recent driving history data. It is likely since it was at a dealer for a period of time that they did launches of harder acceleration more frequently than normal which will certainly affect those readouts… you should be...
Was great to actually sit inside and feel the room and size difference to our T and compare vs the R1S the wife wanted. Now she’s sold on the size of the R2 which was harder to discern in the fall when they were here but roped off!
Agreed they will sell more units over time; but don’t expect viable/decent options on tires until at least mid to late’27 or longer… weird size along with the weight/power of the vehicle requiring more out of the tire than a standard vehicle.
But we’ll be staying away from the 21” this time...
I was about to purchase my third set by the time an alternate AS option was available for my 21” rims on the T… I decided to go with a set of 20’s from another owner instead of purchasing the scorpions at the end of my first set simply due to the cost difference between tires alone vs the 20’s!
Since Forrest Green is delayed and was a toss up between em… This is the wife’s spec! Would have waited for the premium pkg but cost difference is negligible and the added std features make it an easy jump!
Discount tire was $100 for lifetime balance/rotate/repair on my original stock tires and free on the other 2 sets I’ve purchased through them! Cabin filter and wipers are just the cost of the item if you can follow easily along with a YouTube video instruction to replace. I think I’m still sub...
75k and 38 mo. Still rocking the originals! Take care of them and clean and wipe them with a good rubber treatment and they will last a long time! I’ll go with the stock replacement or Rain X when time!
BS! My truck was absolutely quiet from day 1 and the noise came and continued to worsen until I could actually feel the physical play at the wheel when accel/decel occurred… Monitor and video of it worsens is about all you can do as you at least have it documented now…
Yea I still have a full set of 4 of those; parted with one as another owner wanted a spare. I’ll probably sell them individually since as a set they just don’t bring anything!
I bought a fifth matching 20” rim and had them put the same exact Michelin on it at the tire shop… I’ve been doing 5 tire rotations for even tread wear and longer interval between changes…
They replaced the ting washers on the front suspension both sides… solved for about 12-15k then came back again… They replaced a second time and no issues since. They did mention after the second service of a part design update that was meant to resolve the recurring affected flaw and so far it...
