Just brought home my ev9 the other night. The Riv is way better truck, the ev9 is a great car/suv on road. But I dont off road I drive on highways all day so I gave up on that.
Riv looks better then the EV9 for sure.
But impressed with the ev9. I like the dash and steering wheel buttons, so I...
Just placed reservation for EV9 too. Have R1S configuration e mail I am sitting on for a few more weeks.
Anyone know where you can see the interior color choices for the EV9? Everything on line is from all sorts of auto shows and nothing official.
Hoping Iceburg Green is not sea foam green...
What does a set of K03 cost and if I buy rims too, ball park? I am thinking of taking my R1S in 21's and then switching over to 20's when I need new tires.
Tire newbie.
The 20's appear to be getting longer wear then the 21's, true?
and I dont see a lot of comments about the 22's here. Is that because the 22 ride quality is not great?
I live in the valley but am in heavy snow every winter, so assumed I would go 20's but range matters to me as...
I did my first test drive on Friday. It was ok. Out tour guide didn't show us much. We drove around in traffic, it was the last one of his day. So maybe just didn't flow like we hoped. Why dont they let you sit in one like Tesla at a show room so we can try all the features vs just during the...
Ok thanks.
Ok thanks (new to this), so on a set of 108 load rating (that's 4x 2,200 lbs right?) so 8,800 total load.
The truck weighs 7,000 lbs right? So leaves me with 1,800 lbs of people and stuff. I dont plan to tow anything, but net- net that is still too close?
Hi State11,
Thanks for the reply. We drive up about 15-20 trips up/down year. Spread pretty even, having lived often in snowy places I am not afraid to come up if the pass is open in the storms.
I have not dove totally deep on tires but finding 3peak snow tires in 21" is a problem? That's a...
Hi State11, live in Truckee/Sacramento. Which should I go 20's or 21's?
I was thinking 21'st as mostly driving highway and I would just replace the tires with a pair of Michelin Cross Cliamte 2. I have these tires on my Highlander now and they were great all winter, just great.
Thoughts?
Meaning you slide out a lot? or the regen makes the wheels slip?
I am driving a Toyota Highlander (3,600 lbs) with 4 season mountain rated tires and it does great.
Ok sounds good. I wont be an extreme off road user but it will see a LOT of snow in the Sierra's, so hoping all 7,000 lbs of it and some grippy snow tires deliver well.
Sorry I am sure this has been posted, but with my Riv will I need to only use 80% (264 miles) of the stated range (330mi= 100%) or does Riv anticipate this and 330 ish stated miles is the "useable distance" as some other EV makers are doing.
new to all this so thank you.
New to winches. Do you have to mount them on the truck or can you carry a "partable" meaning you set the winch up in between the stuck vehicle and say a tree and have it pull using the tree as an anchor?
I would like one on my truck but I am sure at times having it in the front or back...
