Black powder coat with a tiny bit of fleck in the clear. If I had a do-over, I'd paint them. The powder coat is super easy to haze and scratch. I have to wax them all the time to keep them nice. Automotive paint is a lot harder and doesn't spider web near as bad.

The screen protrusion. It would be next to nothing if not for the beauty ring around the plate. I got the most minimalistic one the had at Auto zone. I think it ties it nice into the front bumper black and helps ot "sink in" and hide. Back plate and mounted bare with no frame for the same reason.
