That's not the behavior I've ever seen. The truck responds instantly to the Key Fob's unlock press, but always takes 1 min+ for the app to unlock the vehicle, if it even unlocks on the first attempt. About 50% of the time that an unlock command will just fail. Proximity lock/unlock generally...

I really wish the PaaK implemented the same BT LE protocol as the Fob. It would be nice to unlock the truck with PaaK instead of going through the App's network connection to the truck.

I already pay for unlimited data on my phone, I wonder if I can just tether our phones in lieu of paying for yet another data plan. On a side note, I never understood the idea of a vehicle based hotspot that costs more than a portable hotspot from any Telco.

I forgot to post about this a while ago, but with the latest patches, my vehicle has gotten significantly better at staying in sleep state. I was out of town for 2 weeks, and got really consistent behavior while the truck was parked in the driveway. The charge state went from 69.6% to 57.8%...

They have a different error message for rate limiting. That said, my polling service polls at most once a minute, and only when the vehicle is charging or driving. The rest of the time it's only polling once every 5min.

I just tested it with the rivian_python_api, and I get the same response. I'm thinking that they did modified my account to enable remote monitoring to look into a proximity sensor issue that I reported to them. It's odd that my android app still works, but I can't login with python.
