I’m surprised you found the ride rough. I drove an EQE 350 SUV and it was the smoothest SUV I’ve ever driven. I’ve driven R1S and R1T, and they didn’t feel anywhere as smooth.
From what I have heard from several people in Bend re: their R1’s (both types) is that the quad motor has led them to lose traction coming down hills on slippery patches regardless of their tire/rim combo, even in snow mode. It seems to overcompensate for loss of traction.
Pure nitrogen is better than what your compressor delivers. When your tires are filled by “pure” nitrogen, their tire pressure is not affected by ambient temperature. This is important if you live in a place like I do where there’s a 40 degree air temperature swing every day.
Met someone at my First Mile drive who has had a Range Rover on order for a long time. She’s frustrated about the wait but also that she can’t control the continual price hikes that she has no control of. No lock in price offered.
