100%, that's the hope!
There is literally nothing else on the road that i'm interested outside of Rivians at this point. While I like our Tesla; my wife is very anti-Tesla these days and wants to get rid of it for an R1S... So I really need rivian to get their act together :D
Mine took a little more getting replaced to fix everything; but after having the both front half shafts, hubs, front drive unit, jounce lines, full front suspension, and the subframe replaced (across 2 visits that took my truck for about 3 months).... It's running and riding great.
Now if...
If yours is happening just about every time after sitting say overnight in a garage (and is NOT wet) then you may be having what I had... In the end they had to replace everything from the motors out to the wheels... new hubs, cv joints, axles; whole thing. Moisture didn't really impact much...
I've always wondered why people feel the need to tell us they're leaving. It's not like any of really know each other and will miss anyone who leaves. :D
disregard, he was very wholesome compared to most that post similar things.
Am I the only one that seeing reducing 50 body components to 3 as a bad thing? While yes, I see that it can help them save money but at the same time doesn't that make these way more likely to be totalled out upon any accident?

As for a part number, there wasn't anything on it... Looks like it's part...
Opened up my frunk and found the following part just floating around... anyone know what it is? For reference my truck was in the shop for 9 weeks getting a new subframe, jounce lines, and front drive unit installed... Along with all the associated parts to install those (list was like 100...
2022 R1T here, vin in the 30xx range. Front drive unit replaced at 28k miles; not due to any faults but instead a grinding noise emitted above 60mph that you could also feel in the pedals. Also replaced my front sub frame with the gen2 retrofit as the old frame's mounting holes had been...
Interesting timing of this and apple's "Get ready to meet the newest member of the family." happening on the same day. I know it won't happen but wouldn't it be interesting if they announced a buyout on that day :D
Another for the "it's the best" I've owned. It's also one of the most frustrating as mine has been in the shop for about 3 months total since I bought it back in 2022. (early vin, 3000's). Now that they've replaced / upgraded many of my parts to the newer "versions" (like the subframe and...
So I've got one that's a few behind yours (vin in the 30xx). I recently had the subframe retrofitted to the gen 2 subframe, a new front drive unit installed, the revised jounce lines installed, and all the associated hardware (brake lines, bolts, screws, etc) replaced. Anyways, the noise is...
