I had the gap in the sunshade as well. It's not supposed to go too deep in the opening. Refer to their installation video for better fitment, it helped me get mine to fit perfectly. I don't have any experience with the other products you mentioned.

That stinks. The one thing I'll mention is that the recirculation tends to have a mind of its own and takes a few seconds before the vent actually opens. It also turns back on by itself. Hope they figure out the issue.

I'm not sure. I'd check to see if your state has any EV rebates and what information you might need for their application. I'd also start making a list of all the accessories you are going to buy: mats, frunk/rear liners, roof shade, lower console cup holder, PPF, tint etc.
