I just got prompted to lock in my order and I see the r1S max packs in the shop. There is one that’s identical to mine except that it’s regular, not performance, dual motor. Has anyone with an r1S max pack gotten a delivery date yet?

OP, you didn’t get a delivery date estimate from Rivian did you? I am trying to figure out where max pack orders fit into the existing order hierarchy. My reservation is from February 2022 and then I just reconfigured with the max pack when it became available.

Anyone have any estimates for when they’ll start delivering Max pack R1S for pre-March reservation holders? I am a Feb ‘22 and I just switched to the max once it became available (always my intent). Wondering if anyone more knowledgeable than I am have insights on a delivery estimate.

Yes, I am really pleased with the pricing. I wasn’t sure what they were going to do either. What I assumed they would do would be to offer the same pre-March base price, but charge full price of $10k for the max pack option. But they didn’t, it’s discounted to $7 (I had said six in my original...

For pre-March preorder holders it’s only a $6k option, bringing total configuration price for my R1S to 83,950. I am definitely glad I waited. Large pack would be fine and I would have been happy with it, but it’s worth it for me.

So does anyone have the option to configure with a Max Pack right now? If so, how did you get that option?

I am bumping this thread to see if anyone has heard any information about when those of us with existing preorders will be able to configure to a dual-motor max pack R1S now that the dual motor is live in the configurator? I’m eager to reconfigure and see what the final pricing and updated...

I have had an order for a Large pack for a while (pre March pricing), always with the intent to update to a max pack. I definitely think it’s worth it for me, even if just for “future proofing”. Does anyone know when the R1S max pack will be configurable for existing reservation holders?
