Can you tell me where I am in the order for a Forest Green R1S? I requested to be on the list back on August 24th (post 274). Thanks, Mike
I hadn't seen that one. It's a lot more money with the backing plate, and I don't like that the plate doesn't secure with a screw (just a pressure fit). But it seems easier to find the sweet spot, so there's that!
Finally received my plates and installed the BuiltRight front license plate holder. It's well made. Sturdy and the plastic bits are robust. Instructions were non existent, though, and finding the sweet spot between the sensors was an exercise in trial and error. I recommend it.
Would be great if Rivian sold a NEMA 6-50p adapter in addition to the 14-50R adapter for the portable charger. I called the service desk, and they had literally no idea what I was talking about. Since my outlet at home is 6-50P, going to have to use an adapter....
Figured I'd introduce myself. Mike Graziano. I have an R1S Launch Edition in Forest Green. We're in central Austin. I'm a car guy with two vintage cars ('66 442 and a '48 MGTC), a 2016 Camaro, 2018 BMW 530e, and a 2017 Escalade in the family.
For Rivian Owners/Adventurers in the Central Texas region. We can organize events, review service experiences, and offer help when someone else needs it.
Just that. After the latest update (20), the "rewind/advance" steering wheel buttons on the left no longer work with Audible. They seem to work with other apps like Amazon music, or changing the dash display. Center button still works to pause/unpause. Spoke to Rivian service via chat, and...
That doesn't help the lack of being able to read or listen to text messages.... If my '17 Escalade can do it, why can't a 2023 Rivian. It's just pig headed stubbornness.
I think the point is that, there are people on here that ONLY trash Rivians. Never a good thing to say. Yet they've been on here for quite a long time, and have hundreds of comments. So do they really have a Rivian, or are they trying to impact customer perceptions. I lean towards the...
I've had 3 Audis. My 2006 S4 Cabriolet was great. My 2009 S8 was great from 25k miles to 75k miles, then fell apart. My 2015 Q7 was terrible from the beginning. I basically lived with the Check engine light on. in 60k miles, they never figured out the problem, despite bringing it in frequently.
"Michigan motorists reported 52,218 vehicle-deer crashes in 2021. As a result of those collisions, 1,449 people were injured and 10 people were killed. Six of the people killed were motorcycle riders. Of the 52,434 motor vehicles involved, 41,154 (78.5%) were passenger cars, SUVs, or vans...
The key is to connect the grounds from one battery lead to the other battery lead via a jumper wire. Look around on the web, and you'll find exact instructions for tying in the batteries so the system comes up together. But basically, connect the grounds together, then disconnect the...
I have a set of the Canvasback. From the 2nd row seatback back. I liked the product enough that I went ahead and ordered the 1st row seat backs, the arm covers, and the boot extension. My only regret is trimming it in green to match the car instead of yellow to match the other trim.
