The 42 update is fine, I was one of the un-affected, and I just recently updated. It installed. Also, my $0.02 - the thing with software updates is that they are always incremental, so, if there is an issue with 42, you're most likely going to get it with 46, unless it's fixed completely...

Hello folks, sorry for the delay, I’ve been out for a while. TL;DR I returned my sunshade since it’s still not completely blocking the heat (enough to still cause headaches). My take - these work, but not perfectly. I’ve ordered 2 or3 of them from Amazon and all of them seem to be the same...

Early 9000 vehicle here, so pretty close to the one you’re talking about. Absolute beast! Love it! No panel gaps at all, but there are definitely minor issues, but, I don’t think anything of those matter to me, since they’re fixing them

can anyone elaborate or ELI5 how this thing works? I mean, other than just prints, what are the costs involved? And would they do it at a UPS that has a 3D printer,etc.?

Just saw that the manual does it this way. Never had to see the manual. I push it through the middle like you do, works great.

Sorry to say this but the title seems like clickbait to me - sounding like an official announcement from EA or something when in reality, this probably boils down to an app issue and/or a bug on their side.
