If anyone is looking to get the Pirelli scorpion AS plus 3, it's discounted for prime day to 220:

I'm leaning toward the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 purely for the weight rating and my (perhaps irrational) paranoia that using a...
Given the challenges/barriers to achieving a true objective comparison of efficiency, I examined Consumer Reports' metrics, especially pertaining to rolling resistance, and they (through a contractor) objectively measure rolling resistance on a dyno as follows:
"Tire rolling resistance is a...
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I could definitely envision a scenario where Michelin discontinues the size in the future since Rivian discontinued 21" wheel option, so I tend to agree.
As my priority is range/efficiency (and they look sweet), I'm debating AWZZ vs AW01, leaning toward AWZZ...
Has anyone heard feedback from Tire Rack on the likelihood that pre-orders for the 21" Michelins for the supposed September delivery (I heard September 13 from chat agent...fittingly Friday the 13th...) will be fulfilled? I really can't wait beyond September given current treadwear on my tires...
Anybody have thoughts on this over R1T bed?

Use will be 29 and 27.5 MTBs. My main concern is that the pictures appear to show the front wheel further forward relative to the front crossbar...
Picked up the truck on Saturday (in for the bumper replacement AND repair of additional damage caused by someone backing into the truck when it was parked *facepalm*). Nothing makes me as grateful for the R1T as driving a rental Buick Encore for a few weeks :CWL:
Add me to the list of people who were told a specific delivery window (in my case 11/8 to 11/13), did not receive it, and customer service says they still have no idea when it will be shipped...
To provide some closure to this topic, and hopefully help inform others in similar situations, I ended up getting a quote from a Rivian certified shop of about $1300 to replace the entire bumper. Not nearly as much as I expected, and given the delta of $800 over my $500 deductible, and that I...
Thanks all. Based on your advice/perspectives, I will seek estimates through Rivian Service Center and through at least one Rivian certified independent shop. I do wish these parts were more readily available for self-installation (if anyone has ideas on if there is a place I can order such...
Thanks. I’m obviously new here - is there a consensus about whether to take to a rivian service center vs Rivian certified independent shop when paying out of pocket?
Hi all,
I unfortunately have some rear bumper damage on the R1T as photographed. I was towing and the trailer hit the bumper. Both of the silver panels (especially passenger side) are damaged and the passenger side brake light cover is broken. Also the bracket that would hold the hitch receiver...
This info is helpful and partially explains an issue I'm having. I have used Amazon Music on my phone for years. We subscribe to Amazon unlimited but not "family" so can only stream from one device at a time. When I get in the R1T and voice-activate the R1T's (not my phone's) Alexa to play a...
Thanks! Yeah, for our family of 5 with tons of kid + adventure gear, the floor to roof shelves and ceiling racks are clutch!
Here here! Thanks for the message, and totally agree about making memories.
Great question! Our family (of 5) will be taking lots of trips to Ouray CO over the summer...
I am a lucky guy. Took delivery of the R1T this week, and this was my 5-year-old son's response when I got home and surprised him with the truck (first picture is him studying the truck to learn how to spell "Rivian").
Can't wait for all the joyful memories we will share in this truck.
Thanks for the background! I figured there was a reason people were looking for aftermarket options, and the subpar fit/quality and lack of sides for slush/mud/water containment sounds like plenty of reason. Think I'll use the chilewich mats while waiting for more options and reviews to come...
