    BTW, the Kokopelli Trail between Loma (Fruita, CO) and Moab is NOT Rivian passable. Many miles of single track so don't bother researching this overlanding route.....Spoke to a ranger in the area. You can drive in from the Moab side for some miles but be prepared to dead end.     Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but the site in Moab just requires an R1S owner to download the Tesla app to initiation charging (assuming you enter a credit card number)? No other adapters needed? So does the Magic Dock have a cable with CCS connector?

    I just checked the map and the only non-Tesla supercharger that shows up anywhere in the West is in Moab! I am hoping to hit the Rivian Adventure Network Supercharger in Grand Junction and then drive the overland route between Fruita and Moab. This would put me in Moab around Oct 10 to 13...

    Good topic. Also decided on running boards vs rock sliders because I hope the ladder frame of the R1S can withstand any hits in that area as it should(?) or am I naive to think the frame of the truck is strong enough. I have the underbody shield to protect the battery and am fine with less...
