I think it makes sense actually. Amazon has an agreement with them to deliver the vehicles before a certain day. To me, they have to keep Amazon happy because of the sheer amount of vehicles they have "ordered" Pissing off Amazon would be a recipe for disaster for a startup company, IMO

With the announcement of deliveries being delayed again, does this make anyone else think about waiting for the max battery pack now? I'm an R1S reservation holder so realistically I'm looking at December at the earliest; I'm wondering if I should wait till the max pack comes out now?

I would be more than willing to pay the $10k for the larger battery life on the R1S. For me, the dilemma is the unknown. Will there be a larger battery pack for the R1S? Will it fit with the 5 passenger AND the 7 passenger? It's frustrating to try and configure a vehicle when you only get...

When you say you are in for a R1T with your deposit, does that mean you know that's what you are going to configure when you can? I put a deposit down but it didn't ask me for which vehicle?
