Funny, my wife and I were just discussing this is the first car, or large purchase for that mater, that we never had even a hit of buyers remorse. Some minor issues that were taken care of after delivery, but zero regrets. Love my R1T!
Most important thing is everyone is okay. Metal can be replaced, people can't. That said, good luck with the repairs and hope you're back behind your Rivian soon!
I just picked up my R1T and it has the same rattle. Love the truck, but hard to show it off to people on test drives with such a loud obvious problem. Have a ticket open but have not gotten a response yet. For now, I'll just keep turning up the radio!
Just picked my new R1T up last week, and first thing I noticed was the steering wheel was not centered going straight. Had to "turn" slightly left to go straight. Put in the ticket this morning.
You are correct! Thanks!! Learning curve starts now :)! I currently have 30 miles and drove it about 20 yesterday, so my guess it had 9-10 miles at delivery.
I just picked up my R1T yesterday. DMV paperwork all said 100 miles, so I thought that was probably a default #. Did my walk around everything looks awesome but was surprised when I looked down when leaving it had 290 miles already. EDIT: That was range, not miles, probably had 10 at delivery...
So sorry this happened. Personally, I don't care what it costs, metal can be replaced, but people can't. Love this truck and the company that puts safety for the product as a top priority. Good luck, never fun, but I'm glad everyone is okay. But I agree, probably totaled. I guess you might...
