Rivian Front Headlights Design
I like the headlight design. If you look while driving for Rivians you will notice that a lot of headlights these days on both trucks & cars have adopted a more rectangular shape. I am always looking as there are not many Rivians in Southern Utah.- ironoman

My R1T is stable at high speeds with All terrain 20's. I guess I forgot it was a truck and I drive it as aggressively as a BMW or my fire love a Yamaha RZ350!!! Just love it!!! :p- ironoman

I am not suggesting them to change their design. In my opinion, that is how they should have designed it initially. -

I thought that this would be the response. However, I am not concern about the ability to flip up the cover. I would rather have a cover that is flush with the bed of the truck. If you have the Lomax cover, how much does it protude above the top of the side of the bed? -

Why don't they just use the Rivian rails so the cover is not above the bed? If they used the Rivian rails I believe it would obviate the need for additional rails and perhaps reduce the cost. -

So that people don't have to put weather stripping between the tread plate and the tubular frame as being discussed in this thread. I don't really care how they design them to eliminate the gap. -

For the price of the running boards or rock sliders I would have thought that EV Sportsline should have designed the tread plate so that it covered the tread tubular frame. -

Based on the pictures shown here and on the Lomax site, the Lomax cover appears to mount proud of the bed. Does anyone know how the Rivian tonneau fits? Are there any issues with it being slightly higher than the bed? -
