    I believe there is a setting to disable the tonneau button that would negate the need for the cap cover.

    1) Yes. I restored my to working condition. I think when it gets wedged, nothing really breaks, things are just tweaked, so the wedging can be undone. 3) Nope. They probably prefer one less service visit. :D

    Can Rivian give up on Alexa yet?

    This happened to me. I'd try to use it for a while, and always get that error. I thought it was an actual connectivity issue, but was wrong. For some reason the truck made me re-enable / setup Alexa. Go into the settings and make sure it is set up and enabled.
