I have the same thing on my R1S since the feature came out. The latest update didn't resolve it for me. The outlets work fine, I just haven't been able to use the timer functionality.

I was near the Boundry Water Canoe Area in a pretty remote area of Minnesota for a week - where Gear Guard captured some clips while we were away from our R1S. Besides lots of interested peeks from other hikers and campers, our R1S captured a surprise guest on two different days!

Same issue here. Just got our R1S last week. I noticed my phone was playing to the speaker while in its dock in the R1S while I was walking around the house. I unpaired my phone from the Camp speaker for now so it wouldn't happen again.
