Rivian windsheilds have zero crack resistance. If I didnt do resin repairs myself, I would have 3 windshields replaced in 9 months. Autoglass company directed me to fix my own as the locations and size of cracks do not allow them to repair.

The Rivian R1T is definately in the BCAA system. I have my insurance through them. Your agent messed up.

With BCAA you have a full year to add on the New Vehicle Replacement insurance.

I never thought to ask about the R1S since it is newer than the R1T. I would have thought that BCAA would consider R1T and R1S equivalent from an insurance risk prospective. Apparently not the case. Hopefully they will add it soon. Good Luck

BCAA is only BC. You can do it either way. I would go direct to BCAA once you have the vehicles purchase documentation from Rivian.
