I had the same problem. My mobile repair guy diagnosed it as a half shaft problem. He ultimately jacked up the truck and was able to reproduce the effect by wiggling the wheel. Since I live so far from the SC, he was able to replace them in my driveway.

I am swapping out my 21" wheels for the 20". What did everyone else do with the old wheels? Is there enough of a market to try to sell them? Or is it something you end up getting stuck with.

I didn't pay attention to the time. You definitely save on cost. Drilling holes for the pop rivets will take a little time. I used my drill press of which I made a jig that made it go faster.

BTW I added end caps for the panel next to the gate as it would occasionally catch and keep the gate from closing. See attached pic. I used Gorilla Glue to attach it.

I am not sure they could help you as it was my design and I had them prepare the panels to my specs, they never saw the finished product so I doubt they fully understood what it was for. I used a local outfit named All Metals Welding and Fab Co. Any sheet metal fabrication shop should do.

When that happens try getting out of the vehicle and walk away for a few minutes then try it again.

I have the same problem. I don't know if using the garage door opener causes it or not, but have found that if I step out shut the door then get back in it responds normally.

I got the same. I already had it fixed this summer. It was very hot and obvious the the A/C wasn't working well. I had to go to my SC and it was worth it. The difference was night and day.

I entered my R1T in our local car show ( Grand Junction, CO) this weekend. We are a little more progressive as we have an EV category called "Electric Avenue". The Riv won 1st place beating out 4 Teslas a BMW and an ID4. I was busy all day talking up Rivian.

It is water tight when tail gate is shut I gave the measurements in the original post. The metal shop should know what to do. Have them look at the photos.
