  1. Any idea why the tow rating on the R1T is so much higher than the R1S?

    This is great and makes total sense. I have an airstream and tow with a hybrid F-150. Put an order in on the R1S but it's just too close on the tow rating to the trailer GVWR of 6000 for me. Want the R1T for shorter camping trip s instead I think. We have a propride hitch as well.

    I thought it might be payload - pretty sure it must be wheelbase per comment above

    I thought it might be weight but they are both about the same weight. And I thought that they are the same motors and drivetrain.
  4. Second guessing R1T "purchase"

    I actually made money on my Airstream when I sold it last year after owning it for a year. Other RV's totally agree.
