Window issue is that the driver window will only open outside of the weatherstripping and won't close all the way. This is the second time this has happened. They are going to fix it "soon" and it looks like I won't have to wait 3 months, but I have a friend who just told me he has one interior...
Yes...I agree the sky isn't falling and yes it is drivable... but not washable... not weatherproof, and SUPER noisy. Yes, frustrated. But not sure if hyperbolic. With the purchase of a $80K vehicle (hell, any new vehicle), the expectation is that one would not have to wait 3 months for warranty...
Even without production continuing to ramp up, service times are going to kill Rivian. A minor window issue and the next available service is NOVEMBER. I know they need to make and sell more cars/trucks to remain viable, but if people are waiting 4 months for service they are going to go...
I liked the halloween red. Would have kept it. But more importantly I really wanted to keep the wolf and owl noises on lock and unlock. Definitely would not pay extra for it though
This looks AWESOME. Much better than my option (MagSafe puck double sided taped to the mat). Quick question… do the pucks stay tightly in the tray (when you lift your phone off the magnet do they risk pulling out?)
To Riviparts:
Just got my Ball mount pro...This thing is brilliant...Thanks!
ps. I tried to send you props through the "contact" portion of your website and could not get it to work
I just double sided taped this MagSafe charger and plugged it into the usb-c plug in the console. It works great. The charging pad that comes with the truck is a good idea, but execution is garbage.
Small and not super important...but I'd like the time on the center display. Just to the left of the icon at the bottom that shows you which driving mode you are in. I think looking all the way over to the far left of the center screen to see the time is less than optimal.
I honestly don't understand. Either something is wrong or you haven't figured it out yet. It took a couple days to master it, but the only time I step on the brake is to put the car in reverse or drive. I find that OPD is infinitely smoother than using a brake pedal. Zero jerkiness. Day one it...
Putting it here as CS thought it was great idea but it doesn't exist. Yet. Maybe someone at Rivian will see this.
Friend who has a Tesla saw my R1T. She is going to order one today. She asked for my referral code. Referral code? I said. She said with her Teslas, when friends buy one they use...
