Towing a Teardrop Trailer with an R1S Quad (+ roof top tent RTT) -- Efficiency Log
I've done the same 1000 mile trip 5 times in my R1T, 3 without RTT and twice with. 2.25-2.35 all 5 times. (even hit the same chargers, 2 per direction) My RTT doesn't change my efficiency. (120lbs, on the bed of the truck so it's entirely behind the cab) If I had it on the roof I'd expect...- ThisIsMyHandle

I test drove a Lightening and hated it. It felt just like my 2014 Chevy Silverado. The Rivian has a soul, the Ford was just a pile of metal on wheels. (IMHO)- ThisIsMyHandle

Rivian is not charging
try a level 3 charger, if that works it's something with the 'charge box' (non technical term). I had same thing. Rivian picked up on Tuesday, and dropped off that same friday. Also mine turned red and said vehicle error in the app. -
Am I missing something…? 100% charge only giving me 291 miles range
This has been a pet peeve of mine.- they never match unless at 100. So I finish a charge, it says I have 250 mile range on the screen behind the wheel. But then on the Nav screen it says my next stop is 200 miles away and I will arrive with 0 range. Yes this updates but not quickly. I don't... -

I live in a relatively spread out area in upstate NY and we have 3 8-12 bay Superchargers all with magic docks. I assume they are past 50% -
Rear bumper collision today
I don't think anyone has mentioned it, but check in settings to make sure tow mode isn't enabled, it entirely disabled beeps and alerts about objects in the rear. For some reason my came with that setting enabled...- ThisIsMyHandle

7 months later and a 50k repair bill, I have my R1T back!
Wow. And I thought mine being gone for 3 months for a 26k sideswipe was bad (drivers side gear tunnel and over the rear wheel). Even though I had her on the drive cam from 3 angles the insurance companies decided to split it 40% me -60% her, but it really was all her fault. Insurance then...- ThisIsMyHandle
