I just installed my dashcam w/ this harness. However, the power in always on / continuous. Is there way to turn off the power when the car is off? i don't want to drain the 12v battery.

I got a harness to wire tap the power from the mirror to my dashcam. Like you mentioned, the power is always on. Were you able to figure out a method to turn off the power when the car is off? I'm worried it'll drain my 12v.

Where you able to resolve this with Rivian and find out the cause? I only have 42k on my 2022 and I have the squeal when driving (not braking). Rivian said it's time for new pads and rotors on all 4 wheels for $1.8k. Never had to do brake jobs on any of my other EVs before, so this was surprising.

Do you know where I can find out more about this? I mentioned this to my SA, but he's not aware of it and asked I share the details w/ him. I have an early VIn so hopefully I could get my covered under warranty. Thanks!
