Yes! I have been experiencing the exact same thing for several months. It seems to happen when I'm on flat open roads with no one in front of me. I had it (Gen1 Dual) in for service and asked them to look at it. They said a sensor need calibration, but that didn't help. I'm glad I'm not the only...
Thanks for the guidance. I have an appointment on Thursday to get my 12v battery replaced and will ask them to look at the cruise control as well. I love my Rivian, but this will be the 5th time in for service in less than 2 years...
I recently had my entire suspension replaced (under warranty thankfully) and ever since then, the cruise control has been uneven. When on a flat road with no on in front of me, it accelerates and slows down constantly in order to maintain speed. It is only does it for a second and I don't know...
I got 9+ going from Vail Pass towards Denver this week and have gotten 11+ from the top of Hoosier pass into Fairplay. My arrival destination is always way off when going home to Colorado Springs from the mountains. Gotta love elevation and gravity!
Thanks for the resources. I have a Gen 1 R1S and am using a Tesla Waypoint charger at my co-working space. I haven't seen the issue again, maybe it was a fluke or was fixed by 2025.14.01.
I've had the same issue twice, it had not reached the charge limit either time.
The first time I unplugged the cable, plugged it back in and the charge continued to the limit. The second time, I walked out to my R1S, the doors unlocked via PAK, it woke-up and charging resumed.
I took deliver in November 2023, submitted my 2022 amended return in February of 2024 and it was stuck in "processing" for over a year. After several attempts throughout 2024, I finally got someone from the IRS on the phone last Tuesday. She put me on hold for a while and eventually came back...
I also just got a hitch mounted rack for my R1S. Mine is similar to the OP's, but different brand - Arksen. It is really heavy, but fits well and doesn't move around much while driving. I'm not sure of the impact on efficiency, but the range isn't great anyway when driving through the mountains...
I was wondering if they were going to push it out or stick to the original schedule. I am bummed, but it makes sense because they pushed the last one from July to August.
I have read several news articles about Rivian starting to manufacture dual motor R1S and R1T, but haven't seen anything about actual deliveries. Has anyone gotten the email about a VIN being assigned or even better actually received one? Maybe we'll just have to wait until "late August" to get...
