Bought mine used - got it transferred over to me within a week or so after purchase. No issues at all since, very happy I ended up pulling the trigger.
did you happen to see what the charging speed was when this happened? I remember watching an out of spec video and he experienced where a charger sent to much power, and made the truck light up like a christmas tree.
I live about 30 miles north of LA and frequently drive to Pheonix about once a month to see family. I always stop in palm springs and Quartzite. Its more efficient to just stop and charge between 20-80% than it is to wait and top charge in most cases. Side note - I prefer the circle K chargers...
just got back from a 7 day trip and left my R1T at home. When I left the battery percent was at 56% and when I returned the battery was at 53%. I was on 42.01 at the time, currently updating to .46.
Gear guard was off however since the truck was at home.
yikes- I was afraid of this so I haven’t pulled the trigger on updating yet.
seems like something is wrong on their software development flow.
Try hard and soft reset for now as well as sleep reset and see if that helps.
Sorry that you have having such issues. I split time between Scottsdale and LA and have had no cooling issues in my R1T. Likely the smaller cabin really helps, much less volume to cool down.
I purchased mine used as well. LE with 3k miles on it for well under what a new one would cost. Great decision, I've been in love with the truck. Only took about a week for me to have rivian transfer the app access.
Great call out on the recommendations for settings, I've been curious about high vs highest. Going off roading this weekend for the first time in this truck out here in CA. Gonna see how the R1T handles vs my previous gen 2 raptor.
Sweet! Going to check this out soon too. Inlaws live in Scottsdale so I'm in the Pheonix Area pretty frequently. Sedona is such a beautiful spot, but I've only ever ridden my bike, need to test the off road trails.
